Here is a model of Goldilocks.  The original concept was created by a friend of mine, Zar, check out her blog at Hopefully I will be posting more work this year

    • Adolph, basically I created the hairSystms along nurbs curves. These nurbs curves were created from actual geometry (nurbs surfaces) that represent each clump of hair from the 2d reference. From there, I would change the their attributes to get what I want which involves lots of render tests. Since the coloration was hard to control, I had to go to After Effects to get the desired look.
